Time does fly when you’re doing something fun.
Tonight I decided I’d whip out my Wacom tablet and practice some digital painting… No particular theme or reason, just so I didn’t forget how to do it, ’cause it’s been a while. Oh well, I didn’t get to finish the piece, but here’s what I’ve got anyway:

You may even be able to recognize who that is
Bigger version: Here.
Anyway, I’m off to bed, g’night!

I remember growing up and saying “Hey mom, what’s for dinner today?” and the answer sometimes being “meh, I’ll see if I can get something from Burger King” sure it was great the first few times, although I’ve never been much of a BK fan, but then it was more like “baww, but I want some spare ribs!”. I also remember “haha, he’s having his birthday at Burger King.” and other such phrases.
Well, things are different over here, apparently. There’s only one Burger King in town, which is pretty much the only fast food restaurant that’s from abroad, (excluding the not-so-famous “Chester Fried Chicken”, which isn’t that good anyway). Yep, no McDonalds, Wendy’s, Jackoff in a box and NO KFC either. Although there was a McDonald’s once, they closed down because of the prices and the hatred for all that is American.
Anyway, my point with all of this is that, Burger King has become somewhat of a rich luxury over here. It isn’t only for fat, poor, hungry, addicts that are in a hurry. When I first got here, I was surprised by the reaction to “I’m having my birthday at burger king” it was mostly “HOLY FUCK THAT KID IS LOADED” or “FUCK YES, I’M INVITED”. Why is this? mostly because.. shit’s expensive.
The Whopper with cheese and without vary greatly in price, apple pie is about 3 inches long and is pretty expensive too.
I could only afford to buy this crap twice last month, but I’ve got to admit it’s fucking delicious, especially when you can only get it no the rare special occasion. I see people in there celebrating birthdays, anniversaries and whatnot quite often. Which I would’ve found quite hard to imagine back in the day. Also, people here are chickenheads so I’d imagine a KFC would go rather well.

Pictures from the last time my girlfriend and I had burger king.

HI EVERYWUN, I haven’t posted anything for a while, I’m not sure if it’s safe to say that I’ve been busy, but I’ve been stressed all right. Now that things have calmed down here’s what I’ve been doing recently:
I finally went to the psychologist! :D. As I probably already knew, I need therapy for at least 2 months. So hopefully I can get my panic attacks, OCD and all that other crap that I’ve got cleared up. She’s a very nice lady, didn’t say much though, it was pretty much me talking about my problems, childhood, etc. So now I’ve got to go back each Monday until I’m sorted.
It was my birthday on the 27th of Aug. My girlfriend had a couple of surprises in store for me. She made me a very nice box with hearts around it, that had a bottle of old perfume I used to use in it. Then she took me to a fancy restaurant (Yeah, almost as fancy as Burger king! [...In fact I'm going to make another post about that, ignore this]).
It was buffet style, all you can eat for a set price (Excluding drinks, which is where they get their money). Sounds tacky, I know, but this is probably the most formal and fancy place to eat out here. I had shrimp, oysters and other sea food, some meat, chips, ravioli, and some other stuff (individual servings of course). Desert was nice, there was a lady that made pancakes fresh right in front of you with a scoop of ice cream. Actually, everything was pretty much fried and made in front of you at your request. Except the chips, salads, and some other additional things. There was a grill and a dude that would cut pieces of meat off of a rotating spit. They also had lots of fruit and yoghurt, cream, jelly, etc. I had a great time, despite the two panic attacks :(.

There have been times when I’ve been tempted to post on this blog, but I honestly can’t remember what about right now. Anyway, I’ll leave you with a picture I took at school the other day.

So I was distracted in class as usual, and I noticed this guy’s jacket. So I’m thinking “Fedex and Ferrari should pay him for wearing that… Hold up a second…” so apparently, it doesn’t even say ferrari OR fedex, never heard of these other brands though. Gave me a few chuckles

So, my girlfriend was out of town recently. She just got back and to my surprise she got me some yummies! :D. She handed me a bag containing socks, a push pop pack bundled with a “push spray” which we later discovered were expired… Which somehow made them even more delicious, the spray has a tangy bitter flavour to it, which when mixed with the sweet, takes your taste buds to a liquidy delicious heaven. I also nostalgia’d hardcore when I saw this, I grew up sucking on push-pops :´). The bag also had another little bag in it, which held a mix of Hershey’s kisses, hearts and other chocolate goodies and a cute little bear! :3 (Thanks love! <33)
A few days ago my mum took me to a Bolivian restaurant called “La niña moza” which roughly translates to “The little waitress” (or something like that). I had a “Masaco” which is basically fried cassava root, mixed with a form of beef jerky and cheese. To drink I had a papaya shake. It was pretty fun, and the food was great. Oh, by the way, the restaurant is called little waitress because the girls that work there are all underage and underpayed.
Delicious push pop and spray.
Assorted Hershey’s chocolate :). (Ignore the background)
The cooot little bear that came with my choklit :3
The food I had with my mum.
An interesting picture of my girlfriend hiding and her cousin accusing me of being a “Frustrated paparazzi” (At the family barbecue the other day).
Some left over meat from the barbecue. (Yum! :D)

So, I’ve had a problem with my screen res for a long time (since the last time I reinstalled XP actually). I couldn’t change it at all, it was stuck at 1024×764. I couldn’t change the 32bit colour or the refresh rate either. So I decided to start googling (I had done this before but was too lazy to try all the solutions).
I found a thread on some board that said Spyware doctor somehow messed things up with the screen res, so I followed the instructions, uninstalled my drivers, spyware doctor, rebooted a few times… reinstalled the drivers… But wait, nothing happened, now I switched my PC back on and it was at 640×400… I could change it, but the drivers seemed to not be installed correctly. I looked around and realized I had 3 nvidia CDs and didn’t know which the right one was (siwwy me :3). So in the end, I found the right driver CD, and now everything is working fine and everyone lived happily ever after…
I’ve got an Nvidia GeForce 8500 GT by the way

So, the blog was down for a long long time. I don’t really know why exactly. But Peppery is nice enough to carry on hosting it and put up with my crap (Thanks pep).
Some things have obviously happened since the last blog post. My girlfriend is out of town, I miss her (I hope she misses me). I went to the urologist for the first time yesterday, apparently it costs $20 for some old guy to fondle your ‘private’ parts, and tell you everything is normal. I went to a barbecue at my girlfriends house the other day, pretty much the first social encounter I had had for a while. It probably did me some good, and some bad too, but mostly good I think.
By the way, I’m really tired so all of this is probably badly written and/or formatted. I haven’t been sleeping well at all for a while, it’s horrible. I wake up several times at night with fear burning out my insides, then I wake up at about 7am, and can’t sleep due to the sun being out and the birds being annoying. I’ve also not been eating well, this month I’ve vomited more than I’ve ever vomited in my life. My stomach aches a lot all of the time and I’m always nervous.
Anyway, enough of me complaining. I’ll probably be posting stuff more often. But now I’m off to bed to see if I can sleep (wish me luck).

I’ve been sitting around all day watching Michael Jackson videos, documentaries and such, and I’ve heard varied opinions about the whole Michael Jackson death thing. I don’t really give a shit about what some people may think about the man, here’s what I think, if anyone’s interested.
Michael Jackson is and was truly a huge influence on who I am today, his music was the first I ever took interest in, at the time, I was about 4 years old, and didn’t care for what was on the radio or anything else for that matter. I clearly remember my mum taking me to a Video store, I think it was at a mall or something similar. I was asked what I wanted, I saw “Bill & Ted’s Bogus Journey” and thought it would be a pretty ‘cool’ film to watch. My mum, though, spotted out a Michael Jackson VHS cassette (I’ve got a few now, so I’m not sure which one it was). She only wanted to buy one tape that day
, so I was forced to either leave Bill and Ted and go home with some weird tape with a long haired white guy on it, dancing around like a robot, or go home with Bill and Ted and never discover what true music was. In the end, I somehow convinced my mum to get both. I got home and watched the Michael Jackson film… I was simply mind blown. I spent the rest of my childhood dancing to his videos every single day, I’d listen to his music 24/7, I’d try to dress like him… It’s pretty overwhelming now that I think about it, I was only a kid, and I had found amazing music, in not only an audibly pleasing sense, but also in a visually, and emotional way. From then, Michael Jackson was sort of a hero for me, he talked of saving the world, being kind to fellow humans, and not racially discriminating other people. All of this, in a “Cool” fashion, that was appealing to what I liked back then. Throughout my teen years, I would still grove to his music whenever I heard it on Television, or on the radio.
His death was simply tragic, I was truly hurt by hearing such sad news. But the truth is, I wasn’t hurt because he was the guy that made me LIKE MUSIC. I wasn’t hurt because he was a great part of my life, or because he was a good singer, dancer, or even composer. It was because… He was one of the only remaining decent human beings on earth. He loved children, he loved adults, he loved everyone, no matter what race or religion. But somehow all of that got lost in translation. When I heard the accusations of him being a paedophile, I thought they were ridiculous. This man was trying to save the earth, to take care of children, he was an amazing human being, yet people try to sue him for ridiculous shit just for a share of his money?
I simply think nobody actually took the time to try to get to know the guy. I recently saw a video of a little girl on youtube, screaming of joy about his death. She even asked “Who changes the colour of their skin?”. This guy was obviously not a paedo, nor was he any of the other ridiculous crap people claimed he was. He was a great person, he just had an extremely hard life.
Congratulations, you greedy little fucks. You killed one of the last decent human beings on earth. Happy now?
Rest in piece, King of pop.

So, I’m posting this a few days after what happened… Just to see if it went away, but no, I’m still freaked-the-fuck-out.
So, the other day, I watched… Requiem for a dream. Okay, I’m never ever EVER going to watch that again, and I advise you not to watch it. It brought back some horrible memories, and dug deep into the depths of my brain, leaving me shivering and scared in the corner of the room crying for my mum.
No, but I literally had to run to the toilet and stick my head in the toilet seat. Luckily, I didn’t vomit, but it was still an unpleasant experience. So, if you’re thinking about watching this film, or know someone who is, DON’T DO IT. It will leave a stain on your brain for the rest of your soon-to-be miserable life.
Oh and uh, Today’s “San Juan” in Bolivia, sort of like Guy Fawkes night. Except I have absolutely no idea what they’re celebrating. They light bonfires, fireworks, etc. Also, the native indigenous people apparently slowly slit the throats of llamas, extract the still beating heart and hold it up on a plate (Some other stuff goes on, but I was too inclined to change the channel while I was having lunch, before puking up all over the table. [Uncensored on the news]). I’d take a picture of all of this, but it’s way too foggy due to all of the smoke, I can barely breath.

Life 2.0 seems to have arrived for me. Here are some things that have happened recently.
I got a hair cut… Never thought it would happen, but it did. My hair is now short. BUT! it seems to be a good thing. After a while of using all those damn chemical products on it, and irons and whatnot, it was getting pretty… destroyed. So I shall not be putting so much crap on it from now on, and I’ll just let it grow as it pleases, the way it was intended to be. (Scroll down for pic)
My drummer was talking about a project he was planning on doing, some sort of soundtrack to a short film he’d be making. I was very interested, he showed me some stuff he wrote for it, I was blown away. I immediately offered to record the music pieces with him, he’s thinking about it, as it was originally only meant to be a computerized sort of thing. So I might be going into “The studio” (his room) and recording some stuff. It’ll all probably happen in a day or so.
As of the band, my bassist’s doing something with a friend, and his cousin. They’re looking for a drummer, they don’t need anyone else, so there’s no room for me there. My drummer will be going to Germany some time, so… Seems I’m left without a band.
I was up all night the other day making a heart shaped box for my girlfriend. (pics below). I had no idea how to make one, so I used my imagination (and not the internet) to make a nice little box out of things I had around my house. It has a picture of us on it.. I guess we both look sort of weird, as I gave it to her smiling, she said “that’s an ugly picture”. We’re not seeing each other anymore for some reason… I don’t really know what happened, I suppose it went downhill after the gift.
Friday’s my last day at school, I’ve got a really strong feeling that I’m going to fail. I’ve been pretty stressed and my grades are most likely going to reflect that.
I might be going to the psychologist about my panic disorder soon, I think I need to. I just realized I’ve also got derealization… Which explains A LOT.
I also recorded a video of me playing the acoustic version of blessthefall’s rise up. It’s… pretty gay, I put it on youtube, here’s a link: Rise up
I think that’s pretty much it, here are some pics.

Me looking weird. Short hair FTL.

Don’t really want to explain those two pictures… Two guys I know. They’re just playing around, I hope.

So, yesterday, me and my girlfriend met up at the supermarket. We decided to get some taco ingredients and make tacos.
So we got some tomatoes, jalapeño, onions, avocados, limes, salt, minced meat and a chicken breast. We also got a couple of cans of Tango and a can of Dr. Pepper[y] (Yum[9me]!)
Then we got some slushies and went to her house. The taco making procedure was amazingly fun, by the end of the day, my fingers were numb from so much chopping (Blunt knife).
Here are some pictures I managed to take:

Supermarket. Look at all the nice flavours and colours!

Oops, that’s my house… how did that get there…

Our beverages waiting for us in the freezer.

All the ingredients on the table, Shaking in fear of being chopped up and burnt to the point of being edible.

Minced meat and chicken marinating. (No, we did not use the microwave).

“Pico de gallo”, Mexicans use it in everything, apparently.

Delicious taco shell.

About to eat our tacos, while watching TV.

Delicious tacos. Taste better when home made. Cheers!
